The South Carolina First Steps 4K Program is designed to give four-year-old students a strong start in their educational journey. Through engaging lessons, hands-on learning, and a supportive classroom environment, students develop early literacy, math, and social skills that prepare them for success in kindergarten and beyond.

We are proud to partner with South Carolina First Steps to provide a high-quality preschool experience for our youngest learners.

How to Apply:

1. Complete the Cogito Academy Application by clicking the “Enroll Now” button.

2. Complete the SC First Steps Application by clicking the "SC First Steps Application" button and select Cogito Academy from the provider list.
   If your name is drawn in our school’s lottery and you do not qualify through First Steps, your student will still be able to attend Cogito Academy free of charge.

3. Submit the required documents to Cogito Academy:

   • Student immunization records

   • Parent/guardian photo ID

   • Proof of residency
