All students at Cogito Academy are required to participate in mandatory state testing.

Gifted and Talented Assessments - Performance Tasks Assessments | Given to students identified by the state in grades 2-5. | Measures students’ problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity to help identify students who may qualify for gifted and talented programs. | 2/17 - 3/13 | Required |
ACCESS for MLs | Given to any student who is identified as an Multilingual Learner. | Measures multilingual learners’ progress in listening, speaking, reading, and writing to determine their level of English language proficiency. | 1/20 - 3/1 | Required |
MAP | Given to all students in grades 5K-5. Students will take an assessment in reading and math. | Measures each student’s academic growth over time and identifies the specific skills they are ready to learn next. | Fall: 8/25 - 9/19 | Required |
